Job Title: Technical PM w/ Java

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Required Skills:

  •  Expert in Multi-layered, Object Oriented business solution's design & development using Java-J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JMS, EJB, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Multithreading, Socket programming etc.)
  •  Strong exposure in back-end/RDBMS layer development using Oracle, PL/SQL and related APIs
  •  Exposure to mobile application development using latest technologies.
  •  Good experience in Web Services, WSRP, XML, XSLT and related technologies
  •  Exposure to SOA and REST-based design & architecture
  •  Good hand-on on UI technologies like XHTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc.

Project Management Skills:

  •  Should have knowledge and experience in estimation techniques and project planning
  •  Skill in understanding risks in projects and take corrective and preventive action to mitigate the risks.
  •  Should have in depth knowledge and experience in software development life cycle and project management processes.
  •  Motivating team members and managing conflicts.
  •  Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner
  •  To manage the project in terms of quality, schedules, effort, risk and organizational metrics.
  •  Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  •  To communicate to customer in clear and concise manner.
  •  Ability to discuss and negotiate with team and customer.
  •  To use size estimation technique and contribute in overall designing of system
  •  To manage various processes and improve it on regular basis for betterment of employees, project and customer.
  •  Manages and mentors Software Engineers, acting as a supporting trainer and mentor to team members across all disciplines within the department.
  •  Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work on own initiative.
  •  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build team working relations.
